" Dearest Justine, well it is not long now before we leave for Taipei! So just wanted to say a few "words" to you before we embark on our next journey!

Justine. I can't believe it is over a year ago that I was told we are moving from South Africa to Hong Kong. My very first thought at being told this, was what the hell I am I going to do with my son Liam? As I explained to you when I first met with you, Liam, who at the time was 13, had many problems in his "school career"! He started going to school in San Diego at the age of 5 and from then I was aware that he was very "hyper" but just put it down to his age. Of course when we returned to South Africa, at the age of 7, Liam was difficult in his class from day 1, and I subsequently had to deal with many teachers, doctors, paediatricians, and even psychologists. As I told you when I first met with you, this was a never ending nightmare, as he was on medication from the young age of 8 years old. Eventually, thankfully I found the "perfect school-system" for Liam which was the ACE system, and all his medication was removed. Liam thrived on this self-taught system, so I was so worried when we relocated to Hong Kong!

My only option was for Liam to continue with the ACE programme, so hence the home-schooling route! Justine from the moment you answered my ad I just knew you were the RIGHT person to help Liam with his home schooling. You were confident, yet understanding. Your background was just so perfect, I could not believe it. So HENCE, the beginning of a fantastic year for Liam!

Justine, Liam thrived so much that I could not believe it! Yes there were days that I could hear him being rude and obnoxious to you, and flew down the stairs to support you, only to find you had the situation in control! You have no idea how grateful I was for this! Thank You, thank you! I have written many times to my friends to tell them how fantastic you have been!

So Justine, we were very sad to hear that we now have to move to Taipei! As you know I just LUV Hong Kong, but have to tell you the first thing Liam said when we told him we have to relocate is he does NOT want to lose you as a teacher! So of course I have done everything in my power to ensure that you can continue to teach him via the Internet! Hopefully this works out for both of us, but of course it is out of my hands! Should this not work out, Justine, I just want you to know WE will never forget you, as you have just been a Star! Your patience, understanding, and ethics are something I personally will never forget. Justine, just know this: you are meant to teach our kids, and the world will be a better place for the likes of you!!!!!!

May whatever you embark on be great for you, and just remember, a lot of us moms can sleep peacefully with you in our lives! May you be in Liam's life for many years to come, and I will do my utmost best to see that this happens, as he could never wish for a better teacher!!!! Go well Justine! lotsa and Lotsa Luv ." - Pam Botha, Hong Kong parent

"Justine was the SEAL teacher at an international school at which I was a primary school teacher. I have to say that I so looked forward to her coming into the class to deliver her lessons, and, as the teacher, I learnt so much from being able to observe my students while another was guiding them. And this Justine does to perfection. She has a wonderful command of the English language and a unique way of engaging all students in the task at hand- they really were enthralled, as was this teacher!" - Colleen French, Teacher Royal Dubai School

My son went to the small primary in the North West that Justine describes. He is on the autistic spectrum and was never able to conform because he didn't understand the needs of others. Justine was instrumental in giving Ben a chance. She was patient and understanding and listened to me as a parent. With the right help Ben has been able to flourish at school. He is at high school doing a science GSCE a year early - the school has tailored his education - Justine is going to be a superb support to any child and I wish my son could be part of it all. Thanks Justine - I will always appreciate all that you did. Jayne Carman, Parent UK
